Baby Flounder 🙃🙂

On the 27th of September ,This morning we went out to the street and got notice that we were gonna go down near the river side  and see pt Englander's catch baby flounder.First we had a assembly out on the court then we sang a waiata,Mr Burt explained what we were going to do,After he explained We got in to two lines and started walking out of school.The juniors were first to walk,then it was the middles,and finally the senior's,we started walking across the road and took a left we went down the street, and all together in one big group we had crossed the road.We went down to see the other Pt englander's lined up when we got there they had all ready started the waiata,we saw that there were pt england children down trying to catch baby flounder.Then we had sang another waiata after we had sang we started walking back the same way we arrived.When we got back to school we had to take are shoes off before we entered the street we sat down and listen to Mr's Telea tell us seniors what we were going to do.Then we went to go to are reading class and started blogging about what we had done this morning...🙂

This week

 Great start for the morning... For the last 3 days when the year 8 had left to go to camp us the year 7 had a lot of fun by meaning activity's  so what happen on Wednesday

Is that we split in to groups and we went to different class Each  group Had make up  a group chant and a group name when all the groups were done with there chants  we all went out to the street to perform are group chant.We had points up on the wall  and churries were winning.

for are group are group name was churries because that  was the best name  we could come up with!  then after morning tea we had fun activity planed for us.  for the churries we had cooking as you could see on my blog there are steps how to make Truffles. The other groups had art and building the best group i was good at Thru out the week was cooking because i love to cook and its fun and easy to do next day we had different class to go and different activity to do. Next day we bacicly  did the same thing but sport so then on Friday we had a cup computation  it was quite challenging when it was over we started blogging about are week THE AWESOME WEEK EVER!!!!!!!!.

Making Truffles

Making Truffles

.Ingredients

. 1x super wine biscuits

. 1x can condensed milk

. 1/4 cup Cocoa 

.3/4 cup choc chips 

. 1 cup  desiccated coconut 

How to make Truffles 

1.you would haft to crush your wine biscuits into little peaces.

2. sift 1/4 cup of cocoa into the bowl

 3. generally mix the wine biscuits  & cocoa together.

4. Add  3/4 cup of choc chips

 5. you would need to add  3/4 cup of desiccated coconut 

6. Gently mix it all together

7. pour in hole can of condensed milk

(mix as you go)

8.Make small truffles balls then roll it on a plate of dedicated coconut

9.Make sure that you put it in the fridge over night.

Immersion Assembly

This morning we had immersion Assembly for the hole school for term 2.

The school had watched a video about four teachers that were thinking of an idea then one had thought of making kites then they all agreed of making a kite.So they got  to work and after maybe about 20 mins they had finished there kites they all went to go test it but there were no wind at all! after trying so hard they went to bed on the field! so the next morning there was wind and flew there kites.

There was a taniwha who only comes out at night and seeks for what is to be seen!
 Maui the brave warrior who had went out with his kayak to fish for his breakfast. After when he was done he had new that it was a long journey back to the village so he sat and took a nap.It was dark  the taniwha had woken he had saw Maui!Maui had gathered a bunch of pebbles and threw them in the air and had received help and there was light and Maui went back to his village.

I have learned that the water is really important to us people a lot of people suffer drinking dirty water

The doll and i smashed the window with the doll but.Then when i went out the window i ran to my house the doll had drop it got suked in to the ground in my room.And i looked around i saw it trying to.

I crawled under my bed i tried to reach out for the doll the only had little bit of time to keep it disracted so i though the doll to the door it reached to grab it.

And i ran to clime out of the window i jumped

Title	A fun time at  polyfest trip !!!!!!!!!!!!!
Introduction	We left school at 9:00 And when we got there we sat down in our class lines We sang songs we then got up and went to stalls. Then we went back to where we last time and went to our groups.
Information 1st highlight	Watching people dance on the stage And looking how funky they were dancing crack up! A lot of people went up on stage and started dancing Which was pretty cool.
Information 2nd highlight	We then got to win prizes and we got a lot of other things We went to play a game and every one in my group won a prize. It was really a day we wished it never ended we had plenty of fun there We to go to this dance thing where u go swirl this thing around and was amazing...
Information 3rd Polyfest importance to students etc	My best part of the day is that i got picked to go up on the stage And I got to sing and i was so shy but then i just sang my best. There were a lot of other singers that were really amazing I new that they were really gooder  me but all my friends were screaming at me and cheering for and i was really trying my best.
Conclusion	We then got all together at 2:00 And we headed back to the bus and we then took 15 mins to get back to school and we went back to  the street  and we sang a song and then the bell rang. And we went back home...
